Swag Curtains consist of two triangular-type curtains, which are set on the right and left side of the window, framing the center. The longest side of the triangle drapes down usually from the center top of the window toward the window frame. Sometimes a valance is included in the set.

These curtains create the illusion of drapes which are pulled back by a curtain tie, but without the extra length of a drape or curtain tie fixtures. Swag curtains are also called swag window treatments or swag window curtains.

As true for most curtains, swag curtains can come in any range of colors or prints from floral to solid earth tones or bright hues. They can also be themed and speak to a motif set in the room or used solely for ambiance by creating a flow of light that is directed towards a certain area of the room.
